SO THE HUNT for a W210 took an interesting turn the other day! Lo and behold one of the nicest units of the E200 (non-Kompressor) that I've ever come across. And do note the registration number too; is this fated? :P

I've been quite keen on the W210 for some time now, as mentioned in a previous video, it wasn't always that way, in fact when they first appeared on the scene two decades ago, I wasn't a fan at all. Many were with me on this, coming to terms with that "big eye, small eye" headlight configuration wasn't easy, and many thought that MB AG had lost their minds.

However, fast-forward 20yrs later and I gotta say its unique styling has really grown on me. There's just something about the slab-sidedness of this car that makes it look so robust and appealing in this day and age, and while styling is indeed subjective, imho, this car has aged very well.

As at the time of uploading this video, it remains unsold, but I reckon it won't be that way for long. The great thing is that despite being just a naturally-aspirated 2.0L, 4pot, it doesn't feel at all underpowered, and is actually quite quick given its size. Another added benefit, cheaper annual road tax :)
